“ It's easy to see why Lost Isle is rated #1 by Southern Living magazine. The atmosphere, food, and drinks are all incredible! We had the sweet potato hummus and smoked fish dip appetizers, which were both delicious. We shared the collards, Brussels, and grit cakes as sides and entrees were the tomahawk pork chop and rib eye - all incredible! Be prepared to park across the street and wait in line, but it's definitely worth it! ”
“ We had a great dinner. Brussel sprouts, Plancha smashed potatoes, Harissa cauliflower steaks, Australian ribeye steak. With great drinks and pouring down rain, this place was still a hit! Staff were friendly and the outdoor dining atmosphere was pretty cool. ”
“ Lost Isle is by far my favorite restaurant I have been to EVER!! Me and my fiance arrived at 8:15 on a Saturday and there was hardly anyone there. We chose to sit at the grill, and we had great conversation with the chefs. They let us taste the sauces for every dish, and even walked us through the cooking processes for our dinner. The drinks were great as well, and I would 10/10 recommend the fish dip as a starter, and clams for an entre. They gave us another free appetizer at the end of the night. The outdoor atmosphere was amazing, little fires, fun lamps, and a great bar. The food and drinks were great, but the people made the night! ”
“ Atmosphere was probably the best part because I’m not “Foodie”. But I love good food. Foodies would say the food was the best part. But the environment is just super cool, every employee was so great and it’s like being at a party while having a great date night in Charleston. Even the dogs loved it! ”
“ The highlight of our trip to Charleston! Love the char they put on the steaks. Clams, eggplant dip and sweet potato hummus, all delish! You feel like you’re at a friend’s backyard having a bbq! Just a lot better! FYI stay home if you like your steak well done! ”
“ Wow! Food is fantastic as well as the ambiance! Extremely impressed with the flavors. The clams were the star of the show but everything was excellent. The staff were very attentive and checked on us while we waited and during our meal. They added to the experience. ”
“ If you want a place to hang with friends and enjoy the weather, Lost Isle is the place to go. They don’t take reservations but during the week, there’s not a long wait. All their cocktails are on tap which is fun. The food is made fresh before your eyes. It’s dog friendly and there’s umbrellas and fire pits. Great atmosphere and all outdoor seating. ”
“ Liked Lost Isle on St Johns Island, South Carolina. They don’t take reservations so we got there at 430 and got the last table. They have a stand alone bar and then another section where you order the food and they bring it to your table. They had a good cocktail list but they were all draft. I had the Thai me up. Was ok. Had a bad after taste. The other drinks were better. We also ordered wine. Food was good. The steak and chicken were tasty and not dry. Fish dip was delicious and the whipped ricotta was a perfect texture and delicious. The sweet potato hummus was also flavorful and different. Came with crisps. Even the olives were good. All the sides were full of flavor and cooked with love! Collards, potatoes and grit cakes! Outdoor seating only.... Was a beautiful night ”
